Trondheimsveien 184 on Sinsen is one of the more well-known combination buildings in Oslo. With its unique location and distinctive design, it is noticed. With the help of Omexom Norway, the property is now one of the capital’s most energy-efficient buildings.
The owner of the building, Auris Eiendom, has had to see that energy expenditure has increased by 71% over the past three years – for various reasons. Of course, they have a wish to do something about, and therefore contacted Omexom Norway’s EPC team. The EPC is briefly explained self-financing energy saving projects.
Trondheimsveien 184 was originally built as a garage which was later converted into offices on six floors, with parking spaces on two floors. As part of the building there is and a Shell gas station which also includes two washrooms. A total of 10,000 square meters is built, says project manager Frode Flage Eriksen.
Together with colleague Bjørn Andre Søntvedt, Flage Eriksen embarked on the project earlier this winter.
Through the project, we identified profitable measures, necessary improvements and investments that also include Omexom’s financial solution with a vesting period of seven years. Our offer also included upgrading the building’s indoor climate to the level set by the Norwegian Labor Inspection Authority, a new top system and a rooftop solar cell system, says Flage Eriksen.
